Indoor Skydiving
I tried indoor skydiving recently—something I never pictured myself doing. I wasn’t chasing adrenaline or trying to prove anything big; I just wanted to see what would happen if I stopped letting fear make all the decisions. And for a few seconds, suspended in that tunnel, I realized how much energy I usually spend trying to stay in control. Letting go, even briefly, felt like a shift.
This year, I’ve been leaning into the things that make me uncomfortable—not recklessly, but intentionally. I’m not trying to become fearless. I just don’t want to keep avoiding things that could teach me something. Every time I step into something unfamiliar, I learn a little more about what I’m capable of—and honestly, that’s been enough.
